Sweepsy Privacy Policy

Summary

Sweepsy stores everything locally on your device and has no server. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data.

What Sweepsy accesses

Sweepsy runs only on old.reddit.com, and only operates on your own profile pages while you are logged in to your own account. On those pages it reads the posts and comments listed (their age, subreddit, and text) in order to apply the filters you set and to click Reddit's own delete controls at your request. Your filter settings and run progress are stored exclusively in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device.

What Sweepsy does NOT do

• No data is transmitted off your device by Sweepsy.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind.
• No reading of browsing activity on any other website.
• No access to your Reddit password or credentials; deletions use your existing logged-in session and Reddit's own on-page buttons.
• No deletions without your explicit Start action, and never on content that is not yours.

Payments

If you upgrade to Sweepsy Pro, payment is processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. Sweepsy checks your license status with ExtensionPay; this check includes a random extension-generated identifier and no personal or Reddit data. Data removal

Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all locally stored data. Note that content you delete on Reddit through Sweepsy is removed by Reddit itself and cannot be restored by anyone, including us.
