Foldsy Privacy Policy

Summary

Foldsy stores everything locally on your device and has no server. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data.

What Foldsy accesses

Foldsy runs only on chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, and gemini.google.com. On those sites it reads the titles and URLs of your conversations so it can organize them into folders and make them searchable. This information is stored exclusively in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device.

What Foldsy does NOT do

• No data is transmitted off your device by Foldsy.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind.
• No reading of browsing activity on any other website.
• No access to your AI accounts or credentials.

Payments

If you upgrade to Foldsy Pro, payment is processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. Foldsy checks your license status with ExtensionPay; this check includes a random extension-generated identifier and no personal or chat data. See ExtensionPay's privacy policy at extensionpay.com/privacy for how they handle payment information.

Data removal

Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all locally stored data.
